Click on photos for larger image and more information. formations: another view My series entitled Formations: Another View, focuses on the difference in time-frames between humans and the earth. These paintings attempt to capture the unending grandeur and size of the Grand Canyon and reinforce the insignificance of mankind. Each painting is titled by the forms their images evoke. These forms in turn influence the framing of each piece by suggesting a cloth or other manmade object that will enhance the form. The naming and framing of each piece reflects mankind's pitiful attempts to control time and the environment. |
